I love, love, love this shade, as you can see the purple side has been well loved in the Nars Caravaggio Duo I am super obsessed with purples as it has been a long love affair which is still going strong. Nars describes it as an Azalea Pink with an Iridescent Violet which is an accurate description. I cannot describe the beauty properly in words you have to see the swatches below. www.narscometics describes thier shadows as:
"Modern, unique, sometimes unexpected color combinations of eyeshadow shades. Worn alone or together, all Duo Eyeshadow shades feature micro-fine powders that are highly pigmented, longwearing and crease resistant. Color glides on smoothly, evenly and blends effortlessly. The effects can be subtle or smoldering -- the options are endless.

Now I'm always digging around into products name and I have always loved the name of this duo so I came across the follow of the name:
"Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio born 29 September 1571 – 18 July 1610) was an Italian artist active in Rome, Naples, Malta, and Sicily between 1593 and 1610. His paintings, which combine a realistic observation of the human state, both physical and emotional, with a dramatic use of lighting, had a formative influence on the Baroque school of painting."
Check out his strong, powerful and beautiful masterpieces below:
